Private campground.
Disconnect from the busy world and escape to your own private campground at Ironstone Creek Sanctuary. The campground is quiet and secluded with access only via 4WD or foot.
Have a sundowner listening to the raucous call of the yellow tail black cockatoo as they fly overhead, spot countless species of frogs and catch a glimpse of a wallaby. Evenings can be whiled away watching the spectacular display put on by the night sky. Be awoken by the dawn chorus and spend the day exploring and splashing in the creek. This is a nature lovers paradise.
It is bush camping at its essence - no showers, bush dunny and all rubbish will need to be taken out with you, we ask visitors to leave no trace. We do ask that guests respect the campground and the wildlife that call this place home. Also, bear in mind the products that you use, e.g eco dish soap & hand soap, and only paddle in the creek with minimal sunscreen or insect repellant.
The campsite has a fire pit with fire wood provided (please check with us if there is a fire ban). Camp fires have cooking grills so you can enjoy cooking your evening meal on an open fire.
We limit camping to small groups of 8 to keep impact to a minimum. Nightly stays are priced at $25 per person. To keep this a peaceful place we do not allow dogs, drones, generators, chainsaws or anything really noisy, sorry!
