Not far from the Sunshine Coast and Gympie, nestled in the Noosa Hinterland is Ironstone Creek Sanctuary. Here, we hold bush playgroup sessions weekly from 9:30 to 11:00 am during the school term. Children and their parents or guardians connect with the natural world through unstructured play and nature activities.

The Bush Circle provides a space for children and their parents or guardians to connect with nature. Nature play sessions aim to spark adventure and wonder through play in the wild bush, while providing a space for like minded community members to come together.
Your Guide.
Nature play sessions are guided by Jessica, a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher, Aquatic Ecologist and lover of the natural world.
We would like to acknowledge the the Traditional Owners of the land on which we play, learn and work, the Gubbi Gubbi People. We recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
